Galway for Life is seeking volunteers to help with their Church gate collection on New Years Eve / New Years Day. The funds gathered will help to keep the pro-life message in the public mind in the challenging times ahead. Age Action West
Age Action is running beginner computer classes for over 55’s in various locations in Galway City. The classes are for older people who have little or no computer experience, including those terrified of computers! The aim of the Getting Started programme is to introduce people to the basics of computers, internet and email. Classes are taught by trained volunteer tutors on a one to one basis with small groups of learners in a relaxed, non-formal setting.
