Mass for babies who died on or around the time of birth
Annual mass remembering all babies who have died on or around the time of birth (stillbirth, neonatal, miscarriage) will be held on the 18th December 2011 at 6 O Clock in the Chapel of St. Columbanus, NUI Galway (University Chapel).

Parents, Grandparents, Siblings, family and friends are all warmly invited to this special mass.

Remembrance Trees in Galway Cemeteries
Christmas trees of Remembrance have been placed inside the gates of New Cemetery, Bohermore and Rahoon Cemetery.
All are welcome to bring red ribbons and tie them on the trees in memory of their loved ones.

Christmas Day GOAL mile
GOAL is asking people from all over Galway to take part in the GOAL Mile this Christmas Day in Dangan Athletic Track, NUIG, Newcastle, Galway.

From 10 am to 1 pm , people from are invited to take part in the event, by walking , running or even crawling a mile around the Dangan track with their families. Every 10 – 15 minutes, a mile will commence, so people can arrive and leave, at a time that suits them.
All donations on the day will go towards GOAL’s various humanitarian programmes across the developing world.
