Newsletter Update, February 8th.

Scoil Bhríde Fundraiser….. Go to the dogs!!!
A night at the dogs to fundraise for our school, Scoil Bhríde, will take place this Friday evening at 8 O’clock, February 12th at The Greyhound Track, College Road, Tickets are €25 which includes family admission, race card and a buster race number. The top prize for the Buster Race is €1500 and there are 5 lucky dip prizes of €100. This is a fun night for all the community and family for a worthy cause.


Holy Icon Exhibition.

A Holy Icon Exhibition takes place in the Tertiary Hall, St. Mary’s, the Claddagh, from Friday, March 12th until Tuesday, March 16th. The official opening of the exhibition will be at 7:30 on the evening of March 12th by Dr. Eugene Duffy, Theologian. Admission is free.


Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Maths Homework Help.

Croí na Gaillimhe, St. Vincent de Paul Resource centre, 1 Mill Street, in collaboration with NUIG are offering maths homework classes and academic support to students from secondary schools, years 1 and 2. They take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:15 to 5:15 over ten weeks and the cost is €20. Telephone 091- 895203 for more details.
