National Day of Prayer for Temperance.
Pray for all those suffering from addictions, especially addictions to drugs and alcohol.

The Irish Bishop’s travel to Rome to meet with the Pope to discuss the Crisis in the Irish Church.        
Please pray for healing and reconciliation in the Irish Church; no more arrogance and secrets, a church of justice, in humble service of the Gospel, baptized men and women together, lay, cleric and religious.

In Éire:

St. Fintan.

Fintan was born in Leinster. He received his religious formation in Terryglass, Co. Tipperary, under the abbot Colum, and was deeply influenced by his penitential practices and the severity of the Rule. He made his own foundation in Clonenagh, Co. Laois, and you can visit his Holy Well there. He died in 603.

Wednesday, February 17th, is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the Holy Season of Lent, and is a Day of Fast and Abstinence. We have two Masses that day, 10:00 and 7:30, and Ashes will be distributed after each.

2. Adoration every night from 8 to 10; new adorers always welcome.

Confessions on Saturdays from 6:30 to 7:30.

3. For Lent we will, as usual, have Morning Prayer of the Church every morning before the Mass at 9:50 AM.

5. The Annual Galway Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place again this year from July 1st to 6th led by Bishop Martin Drennan.
