There are over 35,000 migraine sufferers in Galway. That’s why the Migraine Association of Ireland chose the county to launch its second Migraine Awareness Group. The group will be involved in raising awareness of the condition – while campaigning for better services, distributing information and even fundraising. Those interested in becoming involved are invited to attend a free meeting in the Victoria Hotel – on the corner of Eyre Square – on Thursday, July 9th at 7pm. Attendance is not seen as a commitment, so even if you don’t want to join the group come along to have your say on services in the area, listen to the presentations on migraine, stock up on leaflets or take the opportunity to quiz the Chair of the European Headache Alliance!
