Developing a Missionary Partnership
The Irish Mission Union is delighted to announce that the 2009 Diocesan partnership will be with the Galway Diocese. The focus of this programme will be on the Mission Month of October 2009. The goal of this partnership has many characteristics;
a) to create space and time for people in the diocese to reflect on the meaning of mission today
b) to renew the call to mission
c) to thank the people of Galway Diocese for their support throughout the years
d) to recognise and create awareness of the work of Missionary organisations in the diocese
A meeting to develop this partnership will take place on Thursday April 30th @7.30 in Aras de Bruin, Galway Diocesan Pastoral Centre. The Irish Missionary Union will facilitate the meeting. Parishes, Missionary Organisations and other interested parties from the around the diocese are invited to send representatives.
