Fifth Sunday in Lent- New Life: New Creation.
The resurrection of Christ is the beginning of a new creation. "In Him a new age has dawned, the long reign of sin is ended, a broken world has been renewed and human beings are once again made whole". Our world is enduring another "brokenness"- despoiled, pillaged, polluted. It is surely time for another "New Creation". Let us pray that the Spirit will inspire us to "renew the face of the earth" so that all who come after us "may have life and have it to the full."
