The Feast of the Immaculate Conception has the rank of a Solemnity and is celebrated on 8th December, but when that date is the second Sunday of Advent, it is transferred to the following day, the 9th December, 2024. On its ordinary dating it is in Ireland a Holy Day of Obligation , but not when transferred to the following day. This year the Feast of the Immaculate Conception is celebrated on Monday, 9th December and is not a Holy Day of Obligation.
