6th Sunday of Easter
- The children of Scoil Bhride, Shantalla will receive their First Holy Communion here at Sacred Heart Church next Saturday, May 19th 2012 at 11.00am. Please remember them in your prayers.
- The Easter offering envelopes for the priests of the parish can be returned to the Church during this month of May. Extra envelopes are available at the Church doors. Thank you for your contributions.
- Next Sunday, May 20th, we will celebrate the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord.
- The Galway Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place from July 1st to 6th 2012. Bookings can still be made. See details on previous post by clicking here.
- The Galway Diocesan pilgrimage to Knock will take place on Sunday, May 27th 2012. It is organised by Fr Sean Kilcoyne. Sacrament of the Sick at 2.30pm and Mass at 3pm in the Basilica.
- Thank you for your contributions to last week's collection for the hosting of the Eucharistic Congress. The total raised was €750.
- A special bus will be provided from Galway to the RDS in Dublin for the weekdays of the Eucharistic Congress for all who would like to attend the events going on. From Monday June 11th to Saturday June 16th 2012 the bus will leave Galway Cathedral at 6.30am and depart from the RDS again in the evening at 9.00pm.
