This Wednesday, 18th January 2012 begins the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. During this week, we intensify our prayer that the followers of Christ may be united.
We have received word from Fr Diarmuid Hogan, ecumenical representative for the diocese, of the Ecumenical Service at the end of the week:
'To mark the upcoming Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, an Ecumenical Service of Support for those suffering grief and loss will take place at St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church on Thursday January 26th 2012 at 8pm.
The well known author and broadcaster Christy Kenneally will speak.
Everyone is welcome to this ecumenical event, particularly those who are experiencing bereavement in their lives.'
