In aid of The Poor Clares Building and Restoration Fund, the Corrib Rowing and Yachting Club in Earl's Island (down by AIB Bank Distillery road and follow the signs) are hosting a coffee morning and a duck race on Sunday the 13th December from 11:30 until 2:30 with a raffle and Santa calling in. Coffee tickets are €10 each, also Duck tickets, and are available from The Poor Clare Convent, The Franciscan Abbey Shop, Fallers Jewellers, O'Mailles on High Street, Park Jewellers at The Corrib Shopping Centre, Corrib Rowing and Yachting Club and Maddens in Oranmore.
